Hunter Racing Chases Sixth Straight Championship Title
September 21, 2009 – With another AORC title in their sights, Colin Hunter and Margot Knowles of Hunter Racing recently completed the 2009 Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400 with a well-deserved class victory. Driving their Radflo-equipped V8 Grand Cherokee in the Extreme 4WD class, the team demonstrated a near-flawless run on the demanding six lap course covering deep sand, greasy clay and thick mud.

"The conditions were a bit mixed over the weekend, but none of it troubled us," says Colin Hunter. "It was cold and rained on and off, so while the track started out sandy, it broke up badly with all the traffic and became very slippery. The other problem with being cut up, was that all of the tree roots come to the surface and that can be hard on suspension and tires – but not for us, not this time. Hopefully we can have a similar trouble-free run for the last round."

The event began with a Prologue to determine the seeding order, followed by a Dash For Cash. This was a race for the four fastest vehicles in each class. The team was thrilled when Hunter Racing finished first in their class.

"It was a great weekend of racing," Hunter says. "We didn't have one single problem. The Jeep just went round and round without a fault. All the crew did at the service breaks was add some more fuel and wash the windscreen. It was just fantastic.”

Hutchison and Bergmann Earn Off Road Championship Title for Motorite Racing
August 31, 2009 – With a respectable third place finish in the Highveld 400, Evan Hutchison and Achim Bergman of Motorite Racing secured the ABSA Championship Title for 2009. With only two rounds remaining in the series, the team has positioned themselves just out of reach of their nearest challengers.

The podium finish in Gauteng was the team's sixth in six races. Incredibly, they won four of the first five rounds and finished second in the Toyota Desert Race earlier in the year.

The weekend was off to a disappointing start for Hutchison and Bergmann when their 4WD Revo suffered a punctured tire during the event's prologue. As a result, the team started the race in 12th place overall. "The puncture made all the difference," said Hutchison. "It was very dusty in the early stages of the race and overtaking was difficult. We concentrated on keeping out of trouble and took no unnecessary risks."

Fortunately the team's Radflo-equipped Revo performed without fault, as it has the entire season. Even though the course favored the 2WD vehicles, the determined duo were able to work their way through the field to earn their position on the podium and ultimately the series Championship.

Hunter Racing Claims Fifth Consecutive Championship Title
November 3, 2008 - Colin Hunter and his Extreme Motorsports team know exactly what it takes to dominate in off-road racing. With Colin behind the wheel of their Radflo-equipped V8 Grand Cherokee, this cohesive team earned their fifth straight class title in the 2008 Australian Off Road Championship. The title was secured at the 'Goondiwindi 400' in south-western Queensland where the unyielding, hard-packed terrain is notoriously difficult on suspension components. The course demands the toughest dampers and precision valving to be competitive, and Hunter Racing knew from experience that Radflo shock absorbers were essential to their strategy. The result, of course, was another decisive victory for Colin and his team. Congratulations to Hunter Racing, Extreme Motorsports and all of the hard working individuals that made this remarkable event possible.

Class Win at BITD 'Silver State 300' Earns Dixon Bros. Championship Points Lead
September 27, 2008 – With only one event remaining on the schedule, a class win at the 'Silver State 300' has placed Dixon Bros. Racing in the lead for the 2008 championship. The victory also marks the third consecutive race this season in which the team earned a class win. The solo effort by driver Aaron Dixon and navigator Ed Ramirez was well deserved, as they once again pushed their #7101 Ford Ranger to the ragged edge. The duo faced obstacle after silt-covered obstacle that swallowed other entries and left them digging their way out by hand. Quick thinking and strategic application of the throttle allowed Dixon and Ramirez to navigate through each obstruction with only inches separating their Ford from the stranded competitors. Aaron knew that his only chance of avoiding a similar fate was to ascend each hill climb successfully on the first attempt. So that's exactly what he did. By the time Aaron reached the final gas stop, he had not only moved the team into first position, but also created a 45 minute lead over the next fastest competitor. With the final section consisting of a series of long, high-speed washes followed by extremely tight corners, the race was his to lose. "It's wide open from Caliente to the finish, was the talk among drivers on Friday", according to Aaron. "I'm not sure what some people think this means, but the course remained very technical with plenty of places to end your day, but the Radflo Shocks never let us down." Just under eight hours after the race started, the Dixon Bros. Ford crossed the finish line an incredible 2 hours and 12 minutes ahead of the second place vehicle. With a nine point lead and only one race remaining in the season, Radflo congratulates Dixon Bros. Racing on their latest win and wishes the team success in their battle for the championship.

Hunter Racing Leads Australian Offroad Racing Championship
September 15, 2008 – In spite of losing 20 minutes due to a mysterious mechanical issue, Hunter Racing recently took another class win in the Australian Offroad Racing Championship. Equipped with two sets of Radflo 3.0" Bypass Shock Absorbers, the V8-powered Hunter Racing Jeep Grand Cherokee finished first in class and thirteenth overall in the Teagle Excavations Pines Enduro in Millicent SA. Teammates Colin Hunter and Margot Knowles are currently leading the points tally in the Extreme 4WD class with only one event remaining in the season. Radflo would like to congratulate Hunter Racing on this outstanding achievement and wishes the team the best of luck in the season's final event.

Dixon Bros. Racing Wins at BITD 'Vegas to Reno' Race
August 23, 2008 – This season's Best in the Desert 'Vegas to Reno' race may have been shortened by 100 miles due to environmental concerns, but the course was no easier for competitors. In fact, most drivers found it to be more difficult, including the team from Dixon Bros. Racing. Behind the wheel of the team’s #7101 Ford Ranger, Aaron Dixon and co-rider Ed Ramirez started in ninth place. Just as the team began to advance their position, they encountered a power steering failure which stopped them in their tracks while attempting to cross a ditch. Fortunately, the team's Radflo Hydra-Jac made short work of the problem and they were quickly back in contention. Looking back on the situation, Aaron comments "Without the superior traction of the Goodyear MTR tires and our Radflo Hydra Jac, we might still be stuck!" Once the steering was repaired, the team was back on the warpath. With dual Radflo 2.5" Remote Reservoir Shock Absorbers up front and Radflo 3.0" Bypass shocks in the rear, their class 7100 Ford Ranger performed flawlessly for the remainder of the race. Their competitors weren't so lucky, as the severe terrain immobilized some of the leading vehicles, while others simply couldn't maintain the brutal pace set by the Dixon Bros. Ford Ranger. The team crossed the finished line in first place an amazing 40 minutes before the next competitor in their class.

Dixon Bros. Racing Secures BITD Silver State Series Championship at 'Las Vegas 300' Race
October 6, 2007 – Team owner Aaron Dixon and navigator Ed Ramirez piloted the Dixon Bros. Ford Ranger to victory at the Best in the Desert 'Las Vegas 300'race in Jean, Nevada. The team held a commanding lead throughout most of the race, thanks to disciplined driving, support from the pits and reliable equipment. This effort secures the Class 7100 championship for Dixon Bros. Racing in the 2007 BITD 'Silver State Series'. After a few minor problems earlier in the season, the team's new 2007 Ford Ranger 2WD truck never skipped a beat during the 'Las Vegas 300'. "It looks like we got all of the little problems fixed", said Aaron Dixon after the race. "It was great to finally realize our truck's potential." With Radflo 2.5" Non-Coil Shock Absorbers in the front, and Radflo 3.0" Bypass Shocks out back, the suspension had no problems keeping up with Aaron's blistering pace. The team looks forward to finishing the season at 'Henderson's Terrible 400' where their title of Class 7100 Champion becomes official. Radflo congratulates Dixon Bros. Racing on putting the #7177 Ford Ranger in the winner's circle for the second consecutive time.
